We use traditional horse haired mortars and lime skims, offering the entire spectrum of finishes from smooth to rough. Using these traditional materials compliments the historic way of construction. Traditionally buildings were built to allow the property to ‘breathe’, allowing moister to enter and leave naturally. Using modern materials which are designed as a barrier, traps moister in the building and will cause long term damage.
