Situated in the historic village of Tolpuddle. Home of the famous Tolpuddle Martyrs. Originally the post office and now a family home. Dated as over 300 years old and mostly of cob construction with modern additions to the rear.
Work carried out
Existing cement render to the front elevation was removed exposing the original cob substrate. The cob was then consolidation and any rotten lintels replaced. It was then re-rendered in lime mortar to a sponged finish ready to receive mineral silicate paint once suitably dry.
