Wessex Conservation had the pleasure of working on Golsoncott House undertaking a comprehensive program of high level maintenance.
Golsoncott House is a Grade 2 Listed Lutyens style arts and crafts house built in 1912 for Count Hochburg on the Croydon Hall estate in West Somerset. The works cover all areas of the main house and all outbuildings.
Work carried out
The works include extensive moss clearance from the roof slopes, tile replacements and repairs, repointing and rebedding of the ridges and hips, renewing failed lead roof coverings and complete reroofing of the stable block.
